Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Anyone seen or used this yet?

I was surfin around the web when I found this https://www.vrayrender.com/ Anyone seen or tried this? Let me know your thoughts. Just wondering cause some of the image qulity comin out of this looks better then some of the mentalray stuff.

Mental ray looks like it has most same features too and its free so user added image

yep, use vray all the time and i sooner maya gets it the better user added image

though it hasent the quality of mental ray its alot faster.
I rendered my S2K in vray at 4500x4500 pixels with full raytracing and GI in about 7 hours, i dont think that mental ray would have even come close to that time user added image
