symetrical hands and feet

Hello,

I just began to make my alien character here, and i used subdivisions. I'm happy with how it worked out, but know i want to make the hands and feet. My problem is since i have the model as a whole, and not mirrored, how can i ensure that my hands and feet will be symetrical?

Thanks.
