mirroring blend shape

Hello,
I'm trying to create the blend shapes for my character..
I've tried to do one eye then duplicate that face with a x scale value of -1 do have to have the exact opposite for the other eye, except that doesn;t work..

What is the proper way to do it? to make sure the eyes have identical modifications.

Thanks,
Ari

As far as I know, I don't believe you can do that. You have to make the adjustment manually for the other eye.
