subsurface illumination shader problem

I downloaded the subsurface illumination shader from pixho.com, but when I run the script, nothing happens, it doesn't report any errors, it just doesn't do anything. is there a special trick to using it? any help would be much appreciated

SSS is complicated and some what new best. Best to write to the authers of thease shaders.
