Scanline VFX built a mysterious spaceship and created other magical effects for the HBO Max series The Nevers. VFX supervisor Justin Mitchell received an Emmy nomination for outstanding VFX work on the science-fiction drama, directed by Joss Whedon. It’s set in Victorian-era London and follows a group of people who suddenly manifest abnormal abilities.
