Mental Ray not working properly...

for some reason I cannot see my final gather menu, I get a checkbox but that is it. My shaders are missing some mental ray settings aswell.

Anyone know what the problem could be? I'm stumped.

Here is a screenshot of what I get in the final gather menu, pretty empty huh? I've tried restarting and reinstalling...

Welp, 3 months later I found my issue. Maya doesn't like 128 bit fonts so I changed that in the Advanced Desktop properties to 96 or whatever and it was all good.

Same thing happened to someone else with an XPS .
