Weird error on render

So I try to render my character and I get this:

Maya Fur Renderer: Error, Parsing failed for data file E:/Bowels of the Earth/furFiles/fullCharacter32672_1_1.hair

There's no fur anywhwere on my guy. what's going on?

you may have some stray nodes in the scene, you need to look in the hypergraph for any fur nodes and delete them.
