Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Another Apache WIP

I just finished the last part of the Kbrown's tutorial. I found it really helpful in learning about work flow and and how to see things in a polygonal scene.

So the modeling is finished.....i'm thinking about giving it a non-photo realistic texture.

Here are three shots of the model.

I know what you mean there ankalagon. I've already started on my next modeling project. I want to get away from the apache for awhile. Need a break before i attempt to texture it. Right now I am working on the robot from the children's movie. Castle in the sky. Also known as Laputa.

Sep> Yeah I thought about animating it. But before I working with animation and incorporating dynamics I just want to get a few more modeling projects under my belt. But I do plan on making a skeleton and animating my next project.
