hm.. maybe if u convert to nurbs then change into isoparm add a few lines on the sides then turn into vertise then u can drag the sides one by one?
i'm total noob so there is prolly a better and faster way but if u want give my way a try
i just usually take a poly cylinder, extrude an edge and scale it down a little and pull it out.. usually get a nice rounded edge.(after you play with the normals anyway)
