how do i colour my dog?!

Hi guys,

Just made my dog, looks good :attn: really proud.... but he's plain grey user added image ......

How do i colour him in / how do i make a texture map?!

your asking something rather big... well sorta.
if you just want to change the plain gray to something like brown. make a lambert (like you did in the tutorial to make the dog) then double click and instead of clicking the little checkered box click the gray color a little to teh left of it..then choose what color you desire then click ok.
but for a texture map, i would have a heluva of a hard time explaining that.. its much easier and much much quicker if you 've done a tutorial here in simplymaya.
