Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Dimensions

I am very new to Maya but experienced in Vector works. I want to begin to using Maya for some venue renderings and animations to better present my ideas...with that said, is there a way to display or create objects in Maya in Feet and Inches instead of units?

Thanks

Under Window -> Settings/Preferences -> Preferences, choose "Settings" from the list on the left.

What you are looking to change will be under Working Units (specifically "Linear").
