Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Polys?
If so:
1. Select both, Polygons -> Combine.
2. Polygons -> Append polygons, select each edge you want to connect and then select the opposing one on the other side. Repeat until all edges have a new poly connecting them.

I'm trying to create an iPod I recently bought..
creating those smooth corners was a real bugger.. lol.... but I got over it.. (had to do everything almost manually.. )

1 combining
2 then would extrude edges and move close to the other
3 merge verts.

i always forget about appenduser added image

in the previous steps did you smooth the edges? if so you may need to smooth out the new edges.

edit polygons/normals/soften-harden
