Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

you dont need to know much about computers to use linux user added image
my mates girlfriend wasnt into using computers much but when he set her up a machine with linux on (using gnome as the desktop) - she picked it up in no time at all and was as competent as any windows user on it, desktop publishing, listening to music and playing games etc

saying that I've used it (*nix or variants of unix/linux) for a long time and do like the ability of dropping into the command line and working that way (i hate messing with windows command boxes). Thats why I liked it when Macs moved over to OSX and darwin - linux with a nice apple style user interface user added image

something that's been bothering me recently, is that when you open up your browser, click on the address bar and start typing, when the homepage loads, it will automatically move your cursor to the search bar thingy, so you end up searching for '...turehousewives.com' instead of going to the page you want.

is this me??

i'm pretty sure it wasn't doing this a week ago.

user added image Thanks!

This reminds me of my first day using Fedora: I thought it would be a good idea to poke around in the config files of the /ect directory. It wouldn't boot after that so I had to reinstall! user added image
