This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

chess set (please move to WIP forum)

im almost complete
just need to get the chekerboard pattern on the chess board, and fix the white peices

but ill post what i got now

yeah - I agree with joopson - I think that you should go for a more stylized horse shape- at the moment the knight is just letting the rest down.

haha yeah i gotta agree with the guys.. knight needs abit of work but love the other peices. keep the great work up

looks good (except for the knight, but that's already mentioned)
but just one thing I noticed, should the white queen be standing on a white spot instead of a black one?

good catch freeky... i think the board should also be rotated so there's a white square in the back right corner for each player...
