Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

I have always been tempted to do a nice big Lego scene, hope I can get it as good as that.

tylerm: there is some things that are tough in the beginning, but you'll come around with some training. good luck!

Tim_LIVID: I did a more simple one smoe months before this, a police car, it's here on the forum too, I have one "Technics"-lego in works too, an excavator (I looked that one up in the dictionary...) it's around 85% done, got some wires and the thing that it digs with to do left... a paint is the ass though..

djblazer: how did you get the gloss effect for the minifigs? is that a special shader? i've used a couple different gloss shaders and they don't seem to be working for me, but i'd like to be able to reproduce the kind of look you have above.

all shaders are just standard blinn's.
