How to get rid of this vertex with six edges coming from it?

Hi all,

as you can see, this vertex is overcrowded. I believe this could cause me problems later when I texture, paint weights and animate.

Anyone see a way of altering this mesh, without changing its overall shape? Also, how much of a problem is it really likely to be?

thanks,

gubar

hello.

thanks for having a go - I should have said though, to get rid of it, while maintaining quads. Feel free to have another go!

cheers,

gubar.

Ah, I see now - cheers for that. I thought at first you'd removed more inner edges than you have. I'll try it out later.

cheers,

gubar.
