Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Well, the thing is that the ocean is a shader and there's no particles emitted. I guess i'll have to use a fluid shape which emitts particles and maybe make it displace as the ocean does ?

Do u thing i'm true ?

I saw a similar discussion on the A|W Maya discussion boards and here is a quote:

Re: motor boat trail !? (msg # 1.)

I would try using "Wake" Dynamics. After making a Particle Grid, Goto: Fields>Create Air>[Option Box], Wake.
You will need to configure you Dynamic Relationship, but this should get you on the right trail.

Another approach is to make the water (Plane) a Softbody, and add Springs. Then Connect the boat (Passive rigidBody) as a collision object and animate it through the water.
Combine various Effects (Power permitting) Note: I'm using Maya Complete 2.5. no fluid effects
