Complex UV Layout in Maya

Why is it missing??

Hey everyone i have a question. I went to open a file i was working on with my character and i have CPS on it, but when i went to work on the head, half of the cps is missing. Take a look at the pic to see what i mean. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

connect poly shape
but i think the problem was my video card just bugging out, so i just had to go back a few saves and go from there

Hmm. Never used CPS before actually, that's why I didn't recognizr the abbreviation.

If you select in the region where there is no wireframe, does it still select the geometry?

maybe you have the backface culling on and the face normals are all messed up ?
