I can't get Mental Ray Satellite Working

Hi,

I'm running Maya 2009 & I'm new to network rendering. I know Maya lets you render on at least 4 additional cpus.
I running XP x64 with an AMD Quad Core, so I figured I
should use Mental Ray Satellite on the other 4 machines.

-So I installed mental ray satellite on the other
machines,

-I put the names of the slave machines in the .rayhost
file with the port number (7109) per Maya 2009,

-I put that .rayhost file in the proper place in the
directory on the master machine
(C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My
Documents\maya\2009-x64\prefs),

-I opened port (7109) on the slave machines in Windows
Firewall & on the master machine

Now, when I go to the Task Manager on a slave machine,
it shows the raysat2009server using 1988kb memory,
but if I go to the services menu in Admin Tools, it doesn't
show the raysat2009server at all. I open a command
prompt and navigate to the bin dir where Mental Ray
Satellite is installed & I type the raysat2009serve /query
command, it says the server is running.

I start rendering a frame on the master machine, & the script editor says it's using the .rayhost file that I placed
in the prefs directory, just like it should. When I look at the Task Manager on a slave machine, the
raysat2009server memeory usage isn't changing.
The rendering takes exactly the same time as it did before
I did all of the Satellite Stuff.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to put the master
machine in the .rayhost file as well?

How can I tell if the satellite machines are rendering?

I'm stuck, please help!!!

Thanks!
