inverting a bump map

i am working on a model that requires a brick texture and i am using a bump map, but it is coming out reversed where applied would i go about inverting the bump map

go to the file node with the bum map applied
in the attribute editor there shod be to boxes at the top with arrows in boxes
click these until u get to bumb map depth tere should be a slider just reverse this number ie if it was 1.2 make it -1.2 and visa versa
or u gan take the map to photoshop and invert the colours so black becomes white ect
