this is how it looks like when im adding a image to a plane:
wtf shall i do about it?
i just reinnstalled maya 6 and it still doesn't change
please help me anyone...

In your shader attributes, under Hardware Texturing, set your Textured channel to Color and try playing with the different Texture resolutions...
