Wierd material problem (black in render)

Hello everyone.
I created a basic Creeper model (from the game Minecraft),
and I'm experiencing a weird problem.
When I look at the model in the viewport 2.0 render everything looks fine.
And when I render the frame the textures and materials on the eyes and head are or not showing up or not showing up correctly.
Picture on how it supposed to look (viewport 2.0):

Picture on how it looks in the render (look at the top of the head and eyes):

How can I fix this?
Thanks.

By the way - It works just fine if im working with another rendering method it only happens when I'm using mental ray.

I cannot see any thing wrong with that, you could change to a mr meterial-x shader and see if that works................dave

no...
each part of the creeper is a polygon cube (that has 6 sides) and every side has its own material and texture
Yea.... I'm VERY VERY NEW to maya so I dont really know how to use 1 texture for the whole creeper

I quickly created this from a UV snapshot of the cube,I make the cube with that meny subdivision so I could easly colour in in PS as you can see no problems in maya. Give texturing a try it will in the long run be a lot easier than how you are doing it...................dave

Edit:Just dropped the subdivision down on the cubeand with the same texture did another render as you can see no problem

okay, for starters why are you doing this with an environment sky?? You are already asking for trouble. Clearly you don't understand the goings on with that node. Try using a couple of spotlights to test your textures instead..

Viewport 2 is not an accurate representation of anything in a scene.
