Zbrush is definitely a nice companion app.

Well..the only part on ZBRUSH that really interests me, is the export of the Displacement-Maps you can create withing Z2...I'll keep an eye on that program for the near future...but time to concentrate on maya again user added image

If you're just interested in displacement maps, you can do that in Maya too. No need to learn Zbrush just for that.

I would have tried that out long ago, but Olivier never ported his tools to the Mac version of Maya. Seems to work pretty good though.
