QUADRO FX 1100 and Maya 4.5

Hi

I just got a new HP system, which has a Quadro FX1100 in it.

I had to reinstall the whole thing (drive wasnt partitioned)....

I have just installed Maya... and well, the viewports run pretty darn slowly - especially with an Imageplane.

Infact, it runs slower than another machine i have with a crusty old GeForce4 in it!!!!!!!!!!!

I was using the latest drivers, but someone suggested using the certified ones for Maya.

If anyone has any suggestions, or have run into similar problems, I would love to hear.

Cheers

Matt

Hmmm. Sounds like a problem for the NVidia users. I use an ATI and have absolutely no knowledge when it comes to the Quadro cards. Sorry I cant be of any help here.
