X-RAY

Does any1 know where the X-RAY view is located. (the button that lets you see through objects)

on the camera viewport panel you can change the shading prefernces to Xray

somthing like view> shading options> Xray

its in the same place you find the wireframe on shaded

I'm using X-Ray too much and it would be nice to insert it into my shelf. It wont do it, i know Kurt Boutilier has it on his shelf, but i'm is using maya 6.5


Does any1 Know how to insert it into MAYA 6.5?

assign this script to a hotkey, you can toggle xray on/off by just pressing the hotkey:

modelEditor -edit -xray (!`modelEditor -q -xray $currentPanel`) $currentPanel;

and inserting stuff on the shelf is not a version issue, its the same way to put stuff on shelf in all versions.

Thanks. but it doesnt work with 6.5 on the Persp view or any other

mabye it's just me but u can try it

www.yousendit.com can host it for a while, just enough time to find a real server to host the file.

No, a video tutorial showing them how to put it on their shelf. Nothing big, but it took me less time to do that then to type it all out. I just include the .mel file.
