Well thanks for your kind greetings guys! Now I have a question... How do I get points?

Anyway, I'm already feeling like I know much about this site since I've been downloading textures and free tutorials and stuff all day from the site. Take it easy guys! :p You guys can add me to your MSN if you want and if you have MSN... I'd really like to talk more to people using Maya and stuff... I bet you guys can teach a bunch of stuff just by chating with me about projects and stuff. user added image

How is most people here?... I'm 16 and I was wondering if there was anybody else my age... I've seen some "noob" work in the competitions and I was really impressed.. The Rancid guy really impressed me for a noob but I felt bad.. now I feel like the real sucky noob.. My work isn't as nice as that guy yet and he is still concidered a noob..anyway.. I'll get good in time.. I've only been using Maya for 2-3 weeks anyways.

I'm 15. No worries, I'm still pretty much a noob too, but I do know enough to lend a helping hand when I can user added image The best thing to do when starting out is to get used to Maya's interface and tools. Just so you get a feel of where everything is. But you've done that already.

Cheers,

dont run before you can walk. You can't ever learn "all of maya" it's not possible. I've been doing this for 3 years now and I dont know everything, but you get to a point where you are confident you can solve something if you have to.

good luck and welcome.

No way, there is no 'too late' age to start. It's just how fast you learn.
