Maya Cloth

Hi i am having problems with maya cloth. i have created my model made his jacket from cloth and i think i set it proper but when i press play the cloth just goes inside my model and not how i want it to?

can some one please help

What type of cloth are you using? Maya's standerd cloth or ncloth??

You might want to check out the free tutorial thats on here, if its n cloth make the object you want to collide with into a colision object

hi mate thanks for getting back to me,

i have done the tutorials and it worked fine with that lol but i try it with the model i have made and well ill get a screen grab of what it does.
