How to Delete an Extrude

Hi

While modeling Polygons, how can I delete an extrude I applied without using undo.

I accidentally created quiet a few extrudes on a surface and now it goes crazy If I try and move the surface etc/

in your channel box, look for the extrude in your history, then change the attributes for it to zero.
Don't be satisfied with what you can do but rather strive to do the things you can't do!

that doesn't remove the extrude, i would select the edges and collapse them or merge vertices
