Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Once hidden Never to be found!!

user added image Okay, i am working on a project with a 'turbosquid model' of a man. I was having trouble selecting his lungs through his skin layer. So, i turned his skin off in the materials box to right of screen.

just for my own edification an anamorphic lens stretches a wide screen image such that it fills a normal film frame (standard 4:3 ratio). The image uses the entire frame but the image is distorted from its widescreen aspect ratio. Then the image needs to be projected back through a complimentary lens to project it back at the proper wide screen aspect ratio.

Is this the correct idea?

there is a lot of distortion on these lenses as you can imagine. Its just a real hassle to track them. We dont often get anything anamorphic tho. user added image
