Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Yeah I realised that once I took the screenshots. It is poly cylinder now and the handle is done. I am now doing the UV Layouts

The reference sits on my desk. So I am using the life size item and not reference images. It's a simple shape so I can tweak anything if I need to. I don't always use reference images because sometimes they are not needed I used to model a lot of things without reference images. Like my steam punk ATV for instance, most of that was made up.

Now I have got to a reasonable stage of the mag, I have uv'd it out and put a wee texture on it.

This is not meant to be the worlds greatest model of a mug, just a way for me to get back into the fro as it were. I have not added any environment or anything else and i even think the render position is pretty poor, but I am going to move onto my next small project.
