This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Unsmoothing a smoothed object?

If you have your history for the object, is it possible to remove the smooth from it? I've smoothed an object but am now not happy with it and wish to change it (without having to do the object again). Please tell me you can do it user added image

A poly object? Just set the divisions to 0 on the smooth node (channel box -> inputs)...

That's waht you can do. Go into the Hypergraph (windows - Hypergraph) select the object and then click on the icon show inputs. Look for the smooth input, which is the same name as the one in the channel box. And delete it using the delete key. I hope it works. I've tested here enad worked fine.
