The following is not my note, but i think it says some good things.
NOTE: The anomaly in the system is created by giving those in the system choice, even very minor choice. Those that refused the system even when given a choice will cause disaster if they are not contained or “kept in check” by the machines. Notice also that the Architect says "those that refuse the program." This is based upon his previous assertion that, "nearly 99 percent of all test subjects accepted the program as long as they were given a choice."
End the quote.

As far as that line of his speach goes, although i realise using larger numbers would be yet more confusing to the veiwer, but 1% of the 6 billionpeople that live on earth, is 60 million people. is Zion that full?

u make a gd point ultragames however you need to remember one thing, the architect is part of the matrix, he may not be a machine, but he supposedly invented it, therefore he is part of its grand design, and because of this, because of the NEED for the matrix to be so perfect, its creator the architect must also be perfect, which shows through in his very very refined speech. everything he says has a second meaning
ur saying 60million people are in zion which is incorrect because there are only 250,000 (250,000 sentinals, one for every man, woman, child in zion)
there are only 250,000 because the architect never once said 99% of all HUMANS, he said 99% of all TEST SUBJECTS. theres nothing saying that every human is a test subject, infact its not possible because there would be way too many "subjects" who take advantage of the matrixs main flaw...choice

if anyone else needs anything explaining, just ask user added image

Im not saying that there are 60 million people in zion, just that that is what the Architechs speach implys.

Also, your reply is just a bunch of random statements with an asumption to base them on. Im not seeing a point for these statements to prove.

Whats your point?

what assumption would that be?

my point is that the architect doesnt imply that its 1% of the worlds population cos he doesnt say that
and to back that up, im saying that 1% of 6billion is 60million (like you say, i cant b bothered to work this out) but there arent 60million people in zion because morpheus says there are 250,000 at the meeting with niobe
