This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

messing around - first character

Just messing around with my first head (soon body). Made with polygons. A little more than a day of work. I'm gonna add a nose, eyes, and lips tomorow. A bit tired of sitting down in front of the comp all day (with a break at the coffee shop of course user added image ) I also have to fix that area between the two eyes. Or maybe i'll leave it and say its an alien thing. Thanks for the C & C 's so far :bgreen:

Nice work dude. Can't wait to see the rest of it. What kind of eyes are you going to give it and do you plan on doing any texturing?

I think the eye sockets are too square. Especially if you plan on using spheres for the eyes themselves.

But i think the overall design so far is okay. i would work on the lips a little mroe though.

No tips from me, i dont use maya. I would say the ey size if about right, so bend the top of the eye up more in the middle and bend the bottom part of the eye down more, but about half as far down as the top ones moved up...
