Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

What is the best book for moddeling....

Hello,

I and my friend was thinking of buying of book of moddeling & book of rendering. So, I am asking you which book is the best for lering correct low poly & high poly moddeling, i.e. models like Quake 4 or Doom 3 models? We don't really have that much problems with low poly, but high poly is defrent story.WE would like too learn all "correct" tehnics of low & high poly modeling. It would be good if that book would talk only about moddleing, so you could learn as much as possible. Also, is there any book for rendering also?

Tnx.

rendering i would say "lightning and rendering" by jeremy bern ... for modelling ... hm i had Maya Fundamentals, it is a good book ... so might be good, but as it is called fundamentals a lot of other stuff is included too...

i usualy model right away and then take the "instant maya" books for help or the build-in-help ... more than explaining what the tool actually does you donĀ“t need anyway ...
