Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Can I ask what you are using to get the grate (and great) look to the floors and landings??

Keep it coming - we need more!

Thanks everyone,

I think it's probably the iris thing that reminds you of stargate mmoore, it should look very different though when I get round to texturing the scene.
I haven't really decided if the building is underground, overground or off ground yet, I quite like the idea of a floating island (a bit like in the Gorillaz videos) but any notion of makinig the outside of the building is a long way off! I'll get some rendered shots sorted when texturing starts properly, quite a bit more to do before then though I'm afraid.
Tiddles, the floor is a quick texture that I knocked up in Photoshop (using the alpha channel to make the holes). It's only really there to give indication of what it would look like at the moment, I'll get round to making a better quality texture later.

Cheers,

Mat.
