Any tips for rendering in passes in Maya 2009

Hi,

Does anyone have any tips on rendering passes (ambient occlusion, beauty, shadow, etc...) passes in Maya 2009?

A pointer to some tuts would be great!

We've not got the e-mail as yet for it.


I would have a guess that is the same as 08, but not having it I cant say for sure.

Theres a tutorial on here by Rage that goes over passes in 08 which might help you out?

Try to see this it will help you ... the render passes in maya 2009 is really helpful with the new contribution maps features Really it's a new era in rendering in maya

Yeah, at the MN Maya user group meeting last night our guy had a demo copy, but I personally won't upgrade for a while as I like to keep the same version at home so it matches my version at work so things don't have issues, etc.

I can't wait to try it thouser added image

I'll make an update to the video tutorial when I get ituser added image
