This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
Thanks. Few little details are yet to be done. I won't mention them now because I want your honest opinion about the model. Feel free to tear it apart cause I am about to call this finished.
It is a pleasure to watch it come this far. And with an ocean around, this will RULE!
hehe you even put up the lights indicating port and stearboard! I dont' know, maybe there is supposed to be one or two top lights in white (im not sure about this).

Actually there is one but apparently I have forgotten to update the light linking so it's not illuminating anything Thanks for pointing this out
M: Do you mean barnacles? Quote from dictionary.com:
"Any of various marine crustaceans of the subclass Cirripedia that in the adult stage form a hard shell and remain attached to submerged surfaces, such as rocks and ships' bottoms."
If yes I think I'm going to skip doing them 'cause once this boat is in open seas they won't be seen anyway...
Brian: Thanks! I feel the same way about some of your work too
1. Correct the light linking of the white light undseth mentioned
2. Add some fixing geometry to the bars so they don't just stick out from the deck.
3. Add the anchor type things (don't know what they are actually :p) with chains.
4. Same as #2.
Optional:
5. Maybe add some more rust to the areas where parts make contact.
6. Your ideas?
WOW!... uhhhhhhhh..... nice job mate! That is sick! And to have a todo list like that only makes it that much more insane! All in a good way of course! Nice Job!!!

I mentioned top lights earlier; I actually "referred" to some missing lights in the top-top-top mast. I think there "should" be a combo of white and yellow (front/rear oriented) in this/these light(s).
