dude I think your being far to hard on yourslf! Its good in a way it itll make you better in the end but your work here is good, sure the odd bit of tweaking ... but its a good model!

well i've started on the armor a bit.. it's like a shoulder-pad-thing.. bit i'm not very saticfied with the belt holding it in position.. don't know what it is.. i don't know what tecniques you use for that type of thing.. i just extruded a poly cube around the guy.. then converted to subd's?
