Hey, is there any way you could do 3D text in Maya by just typing in, or have Maya make curves that you can bevel to make text... cuz i want the type to be perfect... and i don't wanna trace with the CV curve tool to make each letter cuz that takes a long time... thanx!!

Hello,

Create > Text > Option box

Type your text ( choose eventually Text Font...,etc)

Select each letter of your text and choose:

Modeling > Surfaces > Bevel Plus

Do this for each letter of your text (you can use the "G" key as shorcut command)
