Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Rigid Binding -> Flexor problems

Hey everyone,
i'm starting my first animation, something small and i'm having some problems.

I've created a character and it has a rigid binding with a few flexors. The weird thing is that, my flexor does this flip kind of thing which distorts my geometry. I've attached two photos, where from one frame(frame139) it's normal, and then in frame 140 the flexor flips. But it goes back to normal like 5 fames later.

What am i doing wrong?

it'll occur when i'm rotating a bone. It's weird cause it'll do this flip for like four frames and then go back to normal.

for one example:

I'll have the bone on frame 1 at 0 degrees and have it rotate at frame 10 at 10 degrees. It'll flip at frame 3 but go back to normal at frame 7.

Um.... ya know.. scratch everything i said.. I just reopened the file and now.... it's.. acting.. normal. I thought I was doing something wrong. Going crazy!!!!!

Thanks Nem
