This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
I'd like to see you guys put your modeling and texturing chops to work. The theme is "abandoned". But instead of making a sprawling abandoned civilization or building, let's keep it simple.
I'd like to see a prop that tells a story. Show a piece of everyday item in complete dilapidation and disrepair. At work, I've been doing such props nonstop for the last 6 months. Here's an example I've been allowed to show publicly to get what I mean across:

sounds like a great idea, I might be joining in on this one should help get my texturing a bit better since I still pretty much suck at textures and using paintshop
