Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Using Shaders

Hi,

So I've downloaded a few shaders for use with Maya and none of them come with any install documentation.

I'm curious, what folder should they be unzipped to, or does it even matter where they are located on the drive?

Thanks,
Sean

all you have to do is import them into the scene. File > Import or the import option in the Hypershade

I usually just put them in the MAYA SHADERS folder and they load up under the sahders tab in the hypershade.
