GFX Card (Compatible RAM)

I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to Graphics cards so sorry if this is a daft question:

If a graphics card has 64MB/128-MB DDR SDRAM (such as the Quadro 4), will this be compatible with the actual RAM on my PC/Motherboard (which is RDRAM) or will there be some sort of conflict - or does it not really matter at all.

Any advice is much appreciated. Cheers.
