When to rig face

Hi all,

I made my character, then I made it smooth by adding to number of polygons. Then I added fur.
Now I see it is hard to rig the face. Was that wrong what I did?

You want to rig the face with the low-poly geometry first. Once it's rigged, you can up-res it, add fur etc. Doing it with the low geometry also allows you to have faster interaction when animating.

The normal pipeline is Model -> UV -> Texture -> Shade -> Rig -> Animate -> Simulate (Fur/cloth) -> Render -> Composite

Imagination is more important than knowledge.
