Will maya/3ds max 2013 work on windows 8?

Will 2013 versions and lower work on windows 8?

Is anyone using maya 2014? Is it a lot different then previous versions? I think David the SM owner is using 2014 on win7.....as for win 8...they can shove it! Im having enough trouble with 7. Give me baxk XP ANY day.
