Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

MEL Scripting For Dynamics

Hi there,
I am currently studying computer animation and for one of my module assignments, I have been asked to demonstrate the use of MEL scripting for dynamics by creating a short motion graphic animation featuring my university logo.

My speciality is character animation so I am very new to coding and I really need all the help I can get.

My plan is to have a waterfall fall on top of the logo and for the logo to gradually turn from mesh to water particles (using code) and then for the particles to flow away.

I have absolutely no clue how to do this and I am looking for any advice on this matter.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you,
Claudia
