This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Blendshapes using Polys?

Is it possible? Whats the method to get blend shapes using polys?

yeah, it's possible. Simply duplicate your original, alter the duplicate.

Select duplicate(s), shift select original, Deform > Create Blend Shape.

Same process for NURBS.

yup yup.. I inquired about it today at school and it turns out it was an error on my part. apparently, I merged a few CV's without really paying attention to what I was doing. that killed it for me. Got it working. Thanks. user added image
