Make road on a terrain
I'm quite new to Maya and I want design a low poly moutain road scene. What I'm trying to do is extruding an edge along an EP or CV curve. When I draw to curve snapping to the terrain surface and extrude along it, the resulting road is not flat. If I draw the curve completely flat, the extrusion seems nice but then I can't Project the curve to terrain, because it is quite detailed. What is the right way to construct a road on a terrain?
Note: The terrain is imported from height maps of read World.
