split poligon tool

when i try to split polygons i can only make 2 points.
So i can't split more then 1 surface. I tryed holding schift and such but it wont make more then 2 points.

I hope my question is clear anough to understand.
How can i make more then 1 point with the split polygon tool.

thanks for reading.

do u mean u can only split 1 face at a time?
if so clean that area up for ne leftover verts
i have had this problem before and this works or i remake that section

also r the faces flat or do they have twists in them?

this may not fix it for u but has done for me in the past
hope this helps

the twists shouldnt effect it too much but some time for me it does and i end up deleting those faces

if u try say from the other side of the part u want to split does it go to that point or is it ne where on theat section?

I would imagine there are verts that need merging or something similar, preventing the tool from continuing the split.

You could also use the cut faces tool to split across the entire object in one quick action.

I think i found it.
the 6 faces on top of the bow are made by extrude edge with 8 divisions. user added image.
though the divisions do not show on wired frame.
Now i try to delete everything above the bow.
And remake.
