This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

skeleton help

i'm trying to attach my skeleton to my model but it wont work.

can anyone help?

well i have made my model, put in the skeleton.

i think the problem is that my model is in sections, i.e the head and arms are all one, etc.

please help me!!!!

Select the model(s), shift select the skeleton root joint, under Animation menues -- Skin > Bind Skin > choose Rigid or Smooth.

another problem. when i try to move the arms down from poser position they elongate and dont all follow the bones. any tips?
